They feature a deep section 44mm rim, with Sapim CX-Ray Spokes and a choice of 3 different hubs from the DT Swiss range alongside our very own VeloElite ONE hub.
We do not compromise on quality, all our wheelsets feature the same high quality carbon rims, with our Stealth design. Our entry level 350 model is more than a match for its competitors, offering exceptional value for money. Our medium and top of the range 240 and 180 models take on the big boys and win. They are lighter, better built and handmade, all at a price that is considerably cheaper than our rivals.
All our carbon wheelsets are tubeless ready and we offer both rim and disc brake options.
Having ridden quite a few different carbon wheels, what really stands out with these is the excellent balance between responsiveness and comfort. They feel fast when you push on, but never harsh over long distances. The freehub is also pleasantly restrained, which is a big plus for me as overly loud hubs have been a real bugbear on other wheelsets I’ve owned.
I’m running P ZERO Race TLR 30mm tyres, which complement the wheels perfectly, noticeably improving both performance and ride smoothness. I also love the subtle design, they look and feel premium.
On top of that, Tom is a great bloke and offers genuinely excellent aftercare. I’d definitely choose these over a bigger brand, the quality is clearly, and you simply can’t match the personal touch you get with VeloElite.
