VeloElite Carbon Specialized Creo E-Bike Wheels

Building all our wheels to order allows us to create custom wheels to each riders specific requirements – having been asked to build some wheels for a recently released Specialized Creo E-Bike we realised there was no aftermarket wheels available for this range of bikes. We are able to offer these wheels in a range of rim depths using our wide disc rim and allows for 23 up to 43mm tyres so spanning the road and gravel disciplines that the bike caters for.

What makes the bike unusual? Well it uses a pair of boost hubs (148×12 and 110×15) but where boost hubs are usually 15mm through axle on the front these bikes have a 110x12mm standard which almost no hubs cater for. We favour using DT Swiss hubs and these allow for almost infinite adjustment and standards so we were able to adapt their hubs to fit.

The spoke count has been upped from our normal road disc wheels from 24h to 28h to allow for the extra demands in terms of strength and weight that an E-Bike brings but also increases the gravel capabilities of the wheels.
